From what I found at Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, it is not necessary to resubmit your website unless you have a new page to be indexed or if you move your website to a new host. Because of this, I believe that broadening of our Internet presence on the web is very important. That is were a Facebook page comes in, also LinkedIn, blog posts, Twitter, Cafepress, etc., to give more places for the major search engines the chance to discover our website.
